The Scottish Terrier and West Highland White Terrier are described by The Kennel Club as 'such ionic and recognisable breeds in the UK for decades and mean so much to many different people'. As a family raised with Scotties and Westies, we can agree that while they may have little legs, they certainly have a big personality!

The Scottish Terrier is a distinctive and enduring symbol of luxury, tradition, and British heritage. Featured in brands such as Monopoly, Walker’s Shortbread, and Radley, the Scottie was also the preferred breed of Queen Victoria, further cementing its historical significance and enhancing its iconic status. The Kennel Club has placed the Scottish Terrier on its "at watch" list after only 406 puppy births were logged by breeders in 2023. Despite their dwindling numbers, the Scottish Terrier won Best in Show at Crufts 2015.

But let’s not forgot their beloved cousin, the West Highland White Terrier. While popularity for the Westie is more common, figures have shown a decrease in numbers of registered puppies drop of two thirds compared to 2008. However, 2016 saw the West Highland White Terrier win Best in Show at Crufts reinstating their place within British society. Together, the Scotty and Westie are both an iconic British image as portrayed by Black & White Scotch Whisky.

Stud healthy, fully tested and screened breeding dogs across the UK promoting a healthy gene pool amongst the breeds.

After 30 years of working life within the creative manufacturing industry and education, I have developed a unique skillset, knowledge and experience in organisation, time management and leadership. As a child, in addition to owning many dogs as part of the immediate family household, I was raised within a family of dog breeders raising a range of breeds from small to large dogs, hunting and sport dogs. I was directly involved in the husbandry care and training of the breeding dogs which I thoroughly enjoyed, experiencing both the ups and downs of animal management. We have a love and passion for nature, environment, natural wildlife and animals, in particular, dogs! This will not just a living, but a family ad-venture.
